Ennis High School female athletes begin summer conditioning on Monday, June 8, from 9-11a.m. According volleyball HC Kelly Henderson, who is now entering her fourth year in Ennis, there will also be skills training for both v-ball and softball.

A correction is due regarding the credit for who places of large American flags at the entrance of Myrtle Cemetery that appeared in the May 24 edition of The Ennis News. Small flags were put in place at Myrtle, St. Joseph and Ennis Memorial cemeteries by the Boy Scouts. Others were erected around town by the Rotary Club. We have been alerted that the large entry way flags have been done by individuals. We apologize for the error.
