Resolutions made at the start of a new year often focus on personal improvement. Giving up poor habits like smoking or drinking too much alcohol and losing weight through diet and exercise are some popular resolutions.
Last week, State Representative Brian Harrison unveiled the 2023 House District 10 Christmas ornament for the Christmas tree on the Floor of the Texas State House of Representatives. The ornament was decorated by local Ellis County artist Lynn LaRose.
Ferris, 15-miles north of Ennis on Interstate 45, announced plans to build an entryway sign that will welcome people into the growing town of just under 3,000. It will be visible to traffic on the southbound side.
