Ennis Legends, outfielder Callie Spencer, played her stars and stripes off this July 4th week at the State 8-and-Under Girls Softball Tournament. Sporting patriotic socks and bandana, Spencer’s focus was perfect.
Kage Bragg, a junior left-handed pitcher for national champion Angelo State, has deposited a third major award, this one after being named the ABCA/Rawlings Baseball Pitcher of the Year into a wheelbarrow already full of hardware.
Ferris High School has signed Mike Dormady as Offensive Coordinator for varsity football as well as an assistant coach in Track & Field. He has served in the same capacities at Waxahachie High School since 2021.
