City hosts COVID-19 memorial, March 26

Those who have succumbed to Covid-19 during the past year will be remembered and honored in a citywide ceremony this Friday, March 26, at mid-day at Minnie Mc-Dowel Park in downtown Ennis. The public is invited.

Strong, Resilient, Hopeful is the theme for the gathering from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. It will take place at the corner of Knox Street and 119 N. Dallas Street.

Following Mayor Angie Juenemann’s opening remarks, Pastor Darrell Nelson, of Faith Assembly of God, and Dr. Larry Jinks, M.D., from Ennis Regional Medical Center, will bring relevant messages.
