Schedule adjusted, RC visits Oct. 30

Athletic Directors from District 8-5A met to set a course for the remainder of the season. The eight teams were divided into a pair of four-team groups. Ennis is grouped with Royse City, Crandall and Forney, while North Forney has Corsicana, Greenville and Sulphur Springs.

Each team will play the other three teams in their group, with a position night scheduled on Nov. 20, then the two first place teams in the groups will meet. The second place teams play each other, with third and fourth doing likewise. That will aid in selecting the top four who will qualify for the playoffs.

Ennis’ immediate schedule:

Oct. 30 – Royce City, homecoming

Nov. 6 at Crandall

Nov. 13 - Forney
