An outstanding season came to a premature end last Friday when Palmer (9-2) dropped a 26-20 decision to Leonard (6-4) in the bi-district playoffs in Farmersville. The District 7-3A champion Bulldogs couldn’t overcome self-inflicted mistakes, including five turnovers and 10 penalties.
