Shooting at QT

Public Information Statement:
On Sunday morning, November 29th, 2020 prior to 9am a road rage incident occurred east of Ennis on Hwy 34. The aggressor in the incident followed the other party to QT in Ennis, where the other party was fueling. Words were exchanged and threats were made. The aggressor displayed a weapon and the person fueling fired a weapon in self defense. The aggressor left QT northbound on IH 45. The aggressor was located a short time later a few miles north and had suffered what are believed to be non life threatening injuries to the arms. None of the parties involved reside in Ennis or Ellis County.
This incident is still under investigation and there is no threat to the public at this time from this incident.
