Mark Alan Wood

Mark Alan Wood, age 62, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021. He was born on June 22, 1959, to parents Geraldine Ann Ritter and John Wallace Wood. In life, Mark enjoyed grilling for those he loved and was fisherman and loved rebuilding his Ford. He was a member of the Dallas Bump Club where he shared his love for vintage truck building and restoring. He worked for G.A.F. for 32 years. He married Sylvia in May of 2003.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Sylvia, children Katina Garcia, Krystal Sanchez, Kimberly Sanchez, Luis Sanchez, Joey Rey and wife Whitney, John Sanchez, 9 grandchildren, his sister Patricia Tucker and husband Mike, and his 4 nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Pamela Wood, and grandson Seth Herrera.

A Visitation was held Wednesday, June 21, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis. A Funeral Service directly followed at 12 p.m. Interment followed at the Rice Cemetery.
