Friday Night Lights get underway later this week with one game on Thursday and five the next night as area teams start the season. The headliner is the Battle of 287 between No. 24 ranked Ennis and Waxahachie at the 9,500 seat Lumpkins Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
