Alice Caudillo Salinas

Alice Caudillo Salinas, age 58, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. She was born on February 18, 1962, to Morris Caudillo, Sr., and Margaret Gomez Caudillo in Ennis.

Attending church, bargain shopping at flea markets, garage sales and clearance sales were some of her favorite pastimes and hobbies. Alice loved to eat and among her favorite foods were tacos and gorditas, along with sweets. She loved Ennis football. Music was dear to her and her favorite types were the 80’s, Tejano and Christian. Her grandchildren were especially near and dear to her and she would do anything to help others.

Alice is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Salinas; daughters, Jennifer Herrera, Stefanie Herrera (Samey Hernandez); grandchildren, Lindsey Arredondo, Kaden Epps, Brooklyn Herrera, and Jocelyn Hernandez; stepchildren, Debra Salinas, Michael Salinas, Oscar Salinas and numerous step-grandchildren; her mother, Margaret Caudillo; siblings, Morris Caudillo, Jr., Maria Maldonado, Carmen Young and Melinda Caudillo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her father, Morris Caudillo, Sr.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Monday, February 15, 2021, with a Rosary at 7 p.m., at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
