Doanna Copeland Montano
Doanna Copeland Montano, 42, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Monday, June 10, 2019.
Doanna was born in Teague, Texas on April 28, 1977 to Gary Copeland and Vickie Sherrard. She grew up in Mexia and graduated High School in 1995. She went on to study Accounting at Navarro College. On May 5, 1995 Doanna married her sweetheart Oscar Montano and they made their home in Corsicana and then in Ennis for the past twenty-one years.
Donna worked for nine years for Dakota Utilities Contractor as the HR Manager and for T and M Financial Service for several years doing accounting and taxes. Doanna was a member of the Upper Room Church in Dallas and was a Board Member for the United Way. She enjoyed living life to fullest. Doanna’s family was the joy of her life and she enjoyed traveling especially to the beach.
Doanna is survived by her husband, Oscar V. Montano; son, Drew Austin Montano; daughter, Andrea Everly Montano; mother, Vickie Sherrard; brothers: Corey Patillo, John Patillo and Clifton Miller; sister, April McCord along with a host of extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Copeland.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 beginning at 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Josh Massey officiating.
