Eva Luna Garza

Eva Luna Garza was born in Lueders, Texas, on May 25, 1937, to Enes Luna and Natividad Rivera Luna. She passed away on May 31, 2023, after losing her battle with cancer in Alvin, Texas. She was the eldest daughter of 11 siblings: Lydia, Gloria, Jesse, Adan (Danny), Faye, Linda, Clara, Angel, Dale and Joe Luna.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Father Enes Luna, Mother Natividad Luna, Sister Clara Luna, Brother Joe Luna, Estranged Husband Guadalupe Gonzalez Garza, Son Johnny Telesfoto Garza and Grandson Noe Flores III.

She is survived by her children: Noemi Nanette Garza, Antonio Nathaniel Garza, Guadalupe Garza Jr, Cassandra Garza, Jose Garza, Chris Garza, Efrain Garza, Mary Jane Martinez and Petrita Garza. Also her siblings Lydia, Gloria, Jesse, Adan (Danny), Faye, Linda, Angel and Dale Luna, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed watching church services and westerns, doing puzzles, playing skipbo, gardening and fellowshiping with family and friends. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Ennis, Texas, and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She lived in Ennis for many years and had just recently moved to Alvin, Texas, to stay with a daughter. She was intelligent, witty, strong, beautiful and kind hearted. She will be forever missed and dearly loved.
