The world welcomed Jeniene Marie Young on March 27, 1965, a day the world became a little brighter. A fighter until the end, she passed away on June 30. 2021, at the age of 56. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Jeniene is survived by her parents, DA Smith and Marie Wright; her brother, Brandon Smith; her three sons: Joshua (Allison) Young, Nicholas Young and Gabriel Young, and her three grandchildren: Addison Jeniene, Jenevieve and Oliver.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on July 24, 2021, at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Ennis, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
