Michael W. Chapman, Jr.

Michael W. Chapman, Jr., age 47, of Dallas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Michael was born April 30, 1973 in Corsicana, Texas, to Jeanne Trojacek (Chapman) Nyberg and Michael W. Chapman, Sr. Michael grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1991. He attended Navarro College in Corsicana. His passion for composing and performing electronic music grew, and he also produced several TV and stage shows at the College. He moved to Austin to be closer to the Live Music Scene, where he could be found performing at live music events, productions and venues.

Michael, who, for decades, was known by his friends and colleagues... and will continue to be known - by his good heart, his bright mind, and his great music.”

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne (Trojacek) Nyberg; step father, Robert Nyberg; uncle John and aunt Sharon Parma, uncle Bob Trojacek Jr.; cousins: Erin Parker and family, Todd Parma, Greg Parma and family, Brandi Layman and family, and his sweet dog, Pepper.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Private family services are being held at a later date.
