Robert D. Loosier

Robert D. Loosier, was born January 16, 1932, in Brownsboro, Texas and stepped in Heaven’s glory on October 5, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. He was a long time citizen of Ennis, working for both Baylor and Ennis ISD.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Hazel Jeannette Loosier; his parents, Hewlett Loosier and Mary Denham, of Brownsboro, Texas; his sisters, Pauline Rohr and Elaine Jarolimek and his brother, Larry Loosier.

He is survived by his son, Robert Earl Loosier, of Carrollton, Texas; his daughters, Patricia Ann Finch and Linda Kay Jones, both of Ennis, and son-in-law, William Jones; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

The viewing will be Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The funeral will be in the main Chapel and begin at 10 a.m. with a brief grave site service to follow. Rev. James Patterson of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate the service.
