Shirlee Ann Rawlins Schupbach
Shirlee Ann Rawlins Schupbach (Mimi) passed away on May 27, 2021, in Plano, Texas. Shirlee believed in Life and requested no formal funeral services. Her words – “I love you. Being with all of you is my life’s desire.” Shirlee’s and Ben’s ashes will be laid to rest in the Hawaiian Islands, officiated by a Naval-At-Sea Burial Ceremonial Service.
Shirley was born in Dallas November 3, 1936, to parents Allen Palmer Rawlins Sr. and Naomi Goodwin Rawlins. She spent most of her days in the Dallas area, with more than 25-years on Schupbach Hill near Ennis.
In addition to raising four children and one granddaughter, Shirlee was dedicated as an R&D Executive Administrative Assistant with Sonic International, Adleta Showcase and Elk Roofing.
She loved raising Scottish terriers and co-founded The Greater Dallas Scottish Terrier Club. She spent countless hours as a volunteer at Terrell State Hospital and Ennis Public Theatre; and managed various roles in the Girl Scouts of America – spanning two generations of kids.
Shirlee is preceded in death by parents; husband, Ben Carroll Schupbach; son, Christopher Allen Glenn; brothers: Allen Palmer Rawlins Jr, Pat Nail and Mike Nail; sisters, Linda Sue Nail Laurence and Marquita Nail Arthur; nieces, Darlene Rawlins Mahoney and Debbie Rawlins.
She is survived by sons: Paul Glenn and partner Kevin, Robert Glenn, Ben Carl Schupbach; daughter, Naomi Glenn Wallace and husband Charles; granddaughters, Victoria Schupbach Kostel and husband John and Rachel Wallace Hulsey and husband Robert; grandsons: Kendell Wellman, Shannon Schupbach and wife Julie, Carl Schupbach; ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and countless others.
Shirlee is deeply loved by family and friends and will always live forever in our hearts.
