Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

In the Oct. 11 edition of The Ennis News, you asked the questions, “Who is guarding the hen house.” Without any evidence, you launched into an attack on America’s US Postal Workers as potential threats of ballot fraud.

It’s the Master Rooster that is guarding the hen house; the biggest, documented liar the nation has ever known. He and his lockstep corps are attempting to limit mail-in votes. We are in a very unusual situation; a pandemic of world proportions. This situation calls for innovative solutions to avoid getting sick, passing on the virus or dying. But, they are being denied this option.

Whose attempting to deny mailin voting? The Master Rooster; Donald Trump and the GOP. They base this policy on potential fraud. The restrictive policy is once again a reckless, unfounded, speculative assumption designed to limit those that wish to vote in a manner that is safer than going to the hen house.

And another thing, you also mentioned the potential 363 million mail-in voters. America only has about 330 million population and on average not more than 130 million vote.

Please remember this, Mr. Editor, “...the chickens are coming home to roost...” in November.
