Attention Sports Fans

Producing football game coverage on Friday nights, when games end after 9:30 p.m., has always been a race against the clock. Then our press deadline was midnight. Now it’s 11 p.m. That is hardly enough time to reach the phone booth and exit with our mask and Super cape in place.

Our coverage, ranking in the Texas Press Association’s best-instate, will make a great adjustment to the kryptonite clock, by producing a special section, Sports Extra, that is emailed to all subscribers on Mondays. Starting September, Sports Extra will include the same great Ennis Lions journalism - game reviews, stats and additional photographs... at no additional cost.
