Ennis catcher Luke Regas had a huge game against North Forney on Thursday in the playoffs. He doubled in his first two trips to the plate, both times to RCF, and drove in Jeremiah Sanchez twice for a 3-1 lead in the fourth inning. In the photo above he exults after sliding in safely in the fourth.
Regas made a critical tag-out at the plate - on a throw from CF Ashton Ehly, to protect the 3-1 lead and to end the inning. He hit .309 during the regular season.
