Dorothy Penney, 96, of Cushing, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2021. She was born in 1924 in Ennis, Texas, to Patrick and Christina Comiskey. She was the oldest of 10 children.
She graduated Ennis High School in 1941 and attended Draughon’s business college in Dallas, Texas. Her Daddy helped her get a job as dispatcher at Southern Pacific railroad in Hearne, Texas. She would ride the train home to Ennis to visit her family on weekends.
