Candido “Candi” Casillas, who served on the Ennis School Board two years ago, has tossed his name in the hat as a candidate for re-election on Nov. 3.
A retired engineering manager, he worked for Texas Instruments and retired from S.T. Microelectronic in Carrollton. He was in the semiconductor industry for 30 years. Casillas (Kah-SEE-yahs) also taught chemistry and physics at Ennis High School and has a lifetime Texas Science Teachers certification and a Master’s degree in chemistry.
