Multiple fire departments joined forces with Garrett Rural Fire Dept. to successfully render aid to a reported mobile home fire on Monday afternoon, Dec. 7.
Ennis Fire along with assistance from Palmer, Bristol and Ellis County Precinct No. 2, provided mutual relief at approximately 4:30 p.m. on what was initially reported as a mobile home on fire to the 4000 Block of Spur 469. Some residents feared it was the adjacent Spec’s Liquor store, though it was not damaged.
