Palmer girls softball enters the final weeks of the season with a tall order in terms of their opposition, or a great opportunity to prove their mettle while clinching a playoff berth.
HC Korey Plough and the Lady Bulldogs, 12-6 overall and 6-5 in District 18-3A, have dates with the two teams above them in the standings, No. 18 ranked Malakoff (19-3) and Mildred (17-3-1). The two games give the K-9’s a chance to move up and secure a playoff berth. They host Scurry-Rosser at home at 5:30 p.m. on Tues., Apr. 20 before going to Mildred on Apr. 23 at 6 p.m.
