On October 24, 2020 at approximately 1:00 a.m. the Ennis Police Department received a call in reference to shots fired in the apartment complex located at 1001 Biloxi Dr. in Ennis. Upon arrival responding officers located a deceased male in an apartment. The male had been shot at least one time. Officers called it a targeted murder.
Witnesses at the scene said 3 to 4 males forcibly entered the apartment. The deceased was identified as Alejandro Garcia, 30, of Ennis. Ennis Fire Dept. and AMR personnel also responded to the scene.
