Wesley L. Smid, age 93, passed away on January 28, 2020, in Ennis, Texas. He was born in Ennis on September 21, 1926, to Emil and Frances (Pechal) Smid.
Wesley married his wife of 72 years, Julia Prachyl, in 1948. He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and the KJT. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he worked as a typesetter and plate maker for Ennis Business Forms for 42 years.
