Facing the top two teams in the District 15-5A, the Lady Lions were swept twice, convincingly at Midlothian (22-7), and fell at home in three to Red Oak (19-13), though two of the three were settled by just points. The 0-2 start in league play was tough, but not a complete surprise. Overall, Ennis is now 13-10 with a home tilt on tap last night, Friday, Sept. 20, versus Kaufman (9-20).
