Strong to severe winds and rain blew through the area on Wednesday, June 21, knocking out power for 200,000 homes in North Texas, including 16,000 in Dallas County. Locally, over 12,000 were without power across Ellis and Navarro counties.There were reports of multiple trees as well as downed power lines.
