Bobbie L. White

Bobbie L. White, age 75, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Bobbie was born in Ennis, Texas, on April 26, 1944, to Joseph Alfonzo and Ann Mae Perigo.

Bobbie worked at various trucking companies for 20 plus years as a truck driver. She was a devoted Christian, a member of First Baptist Church of Wilmer where she was treasurer and also a Sunday School Teacher. Bobbie enjoyed playing dominoes, computer solitaire, and was a fond reader of romance novels. She loved camping in her new camper as well.

Bobbie is survived by children, Marty White and wife Chris of Indiana, Jeff White and wife Tammy of Florida, Cindy Brummett and husband Shane of Gainesville, and James Dodson of Wilmer, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husbands, Herald Ray White, and James O. Dodson Jr.; son, Tony White; grandson, Bradley Joe Mitchell; and brother, James “Woody” Stanton.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, March 20, 2020, at Boze Mitchell McKibbin funeral home in Ennis.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2 PM at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Buggs officiating. Interment will follow at Rice Cemetery in Rice, Texas.
