Mary F. Tignor was united with Jesus on May 1, 2023. She was born in Texas to Minnie Lee and Curtis Lee Cook. An Ennis, Texas girl through and through, she lived in and loved her home in Rice. Mary continued her education earning a Business Degree. She blessed so many lives just by being who she is. A loving wife and warm, caring mother, Mary leaves a legacy of open arms and acceptance that lives on through all that knew her.

Interment will take place in Pantheon Mu-
nicipal Miguel Auza, Zacatecas, Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Cristina Santos; son, Michael Sanchez, and daughter, Teresa Wiebold, along with numerous brothers and sisters.

Ellis County Commissioner’s Court has re-enacted the county- wide outdoor burn ban, effective Tuesday, Oct. 18. According to area Fire Marshall, Tim Birdwell, dry conditions have persisted to the point where the governing drought index number warrants applying the immediate 90-day burn ban.

Ashley J. Johnson, 40, passed away Oct. 13, 2022, at UTSouthwestern, Dallas.

Ashley was born June 18, 1982, in Dallas. She was the loving daughter of Michael and Jan Johnson.

Ashley is survived by her loving partner, Eric Morales, and beautiful daughter, Sarah Morales, and immediate family: Dylan Johnson, Debra Bilbrey, Scott Johnson, Keith Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Whitney Nuness.

Ashley attended Corsicana High School and Navarro College. Her passion for gymnastics and cheering leading led her to teach for many years.
