Daniel G. Livar

Daniel G. Livar, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2019, in Ennis. He was born on December 11, 1957, in Mathis, Texas, to Alfredo Livar, Sr. and Guadalupe Gonzales.

Danny was a hard worker who loved his grandchildren and his dogs, Ranger and Girl. He was a DJ and loved to dance; he was the goto dance partner and loved being outside.

Danny is survived by sons and daughters; Priscilla Vargas and husband, Joel Vargas, Duran Livar, and Daniela Livar, grandchildren; Joey, Jordan, Jacob, Jace, and Layla, sisters; Emma Frye and husband Phip, Minnie Morales, and Susie Duarte, brothers; Heno Livar and wife Anita, Freddie Livar, Jr. and wife Cathy, Joe Livar and wife Michelle, and Lupe Livar and wife Joy, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Livar Sr. and Guadalupe Gonzales, and sister Maria Mejia.

There will be a Visitation for family and friends on Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2019, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis with Father Agustin Fuertes as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
