Thomas G. Gilmore

Thomas G. Gilmore passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Visalia, California. He was also known as TG by his family and friends.

Thomas was born on April 23, 1944, to parents Fred and Mora Gilmore, in Ennis, Texas. Thomas graduated from Ennis High School in 1962. Thomas was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and served in the US Army. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Silver Star.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Darlene; children: Troy Gilmore, Tonya Montgomery, Kevin Gilmore, Andi Spears, Chance McGuire and Megan Garner; brothers: Mike Gilmore (Mary Helen) and Gary Gilmore (Juliana); sisters: Freda Deal and Connie Seale (George); 15 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Dwayne and Jimmy (Buzzy), sisters: Shirley and Irene and brother-in-law, Donald Deal.

Thomas’ quick wit, sense of humor and love for his family will leave all who knew and loved him with lifelong memories of love and laughter.
