Vivian Jurica Vrana
Vivian Jurica Vrana, 86, passed away peacefully in Ennis, Texas, joining her husband on Sunday, September 1, 2019.
Born as an only child, Vivian was born on June 21, 1933, to Joe W. and Leona (Haskovec) Jurica in Ennis, Texas. She grew up in Ennis and was a graduate of Ennis High School with the class of 1950. On November 10, 1952, she married Johnny F. Vrana and they made their home in Ennis.
Vivian was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Charter member of Ennis Catholic Daughters of America, Bluebonnet Patches Quilters Guild of Ennis, K.J.Z.T. and S.P.J.S.T.
She is preceded in death by her husband on September 29, 2014, Johnny F. Vrana, infant son, Randy Joe Vrana on September 27, 1960, her parents, Joe and Leona Jurica and her sonin-law, Frank A. Kubena on June 21, 2018.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Cindy Kubena; grandsons: Jonathan Kubena and Michael Kubena.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5, 2019, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m.
Mass of the Christian Burial was held on Friday, September 6, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as Celebrant. Pallbearers were Jonathan Kubena, Michael Kubena, Richard Vrana, James Trojacek, Richard Hornik and Richard Spaniel. Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
