Ennis dropped their third district baseball game in four outings thanks in part to a dominating performance by Midlothian senior southpaw Caden Copeland. The Louisiana Tech commit threw a six-hitter, none until the fourth inning, as the Panthers rolled to a 7-2 win on Tuesday.
The 6’1 fireballer had it going his way from the start, especially with gusty winds behind his back. Using primarily his fastball, he struck out six Lions, two in the second, third and seventh innings.
