     Kept under wraps for over two years, Project Snoopy, a.k.a. Freshpet, Inc., is finally official. The story is one that highlights the value of relationships and teamwork. It is also a story of faith and refusing to give up even when the competition and obstacles seem insurmountable.

     Here in North Texas, and really almost anywhere in the state, gardeners can grow roses successfully rear-round.

     Eight unanswered points in the second overtime settled a hard-fought, Bi-District boys basketball playoff as Kaufman edged Ennis, 74-69, at North Mesquite High School.
     As it did throughout the game, free throws were the difference as the K-Lions made 23-of-33 (69.7 percent). Ennis, who converted just 8-of-17 in the first half, finished 10-of-23 (43.5). Asked after the game about what the determining factor, Ennis second-year HC Roynal Bridgeforth summed it up in two words, “Free throws.” One team cashed in, and one did not.
