This week’s deadly wreck cost the lives of two truck drivers. A number of phone calls were made to The Ennis News’ offices, along with photos and video footage.
The stretch of pavement that connects Ennis with Scurry, Rosser and Kaufman has long been associated for wreaking havoc. Speed, no shoulders and two lanes, combined with 27 mostly-open miles between I-45 and US 175, has witnessed its share of fender-benders and fatalities.
