Autumn Yards of the Season 2022

The Ennis Garden Club has announced the 2022 Autumn Yards of the Season. The Yards of the Season are selected three times a year: Spring, Summer, and Autumn. The yards, nominated by members of the Ennis Garden Club, are selected in each of the four EISD school districts. Homes are chosen using the following criteria: curb appeal, neatness, seasonal landscaping, use of perennials, and owner involvement. The Yards of the Season for Autumn 2022 are: Sam Houston… 708 S. Autumn Daze a wrap, Lights of Ennis on tap

Following a jam-packed October, area residents can take advantage of activities planned for November and December. Autumn Daze, originally a few days, has become an entire month of related events tied to the hay maze and pumpkin patch.

Elections for City leaders in May

City leadership elections are not on the ballot on Nov. 8, though three terms are up in May of 2023. It is still early for those candidates to announce if they plan to run again or step down.
