When the December wedding came to a close, it was the bride’s mother who looked around at her friends from college.
“We’ve got one hour to clean up this place or I face another $250 charge.”

We took off our heels and these five college friends--as well as a few family members and out-of-town guests--went to work, wrapping candlesticks and glass globes, putting flowers in boxes for transport to the adjoining condominiums, breaking down tables and folding up chairs.
